How are business days counted?
Both the start and end dates are included in the count when they are business days (the same convention as Excel’s NETWORKDAYS function). Weekends and public holidays are excluded.
Which holidays are excluded? (Brazil)
All official public holidays for Brazil from 2024 to 2028 are excluded, including observed holidays when a public holiday falls on a weekend. The calculator lists every holiday found in your date range so you can verify the result.
What counts as the weekend? in Brazil
Saturday and Sunday for most countries. A few countries (for example Saudi Arabia) observe Friday–Saturday weekends, and the calculator adjusts automatically.
Can I count backwards?
Yes — the calculator works whichever order you enter the dates; it always counts the business days between them.
Is this the same as Excel’s NETWORKDAYS?
Yes. Enter the same two dates and you should get the same result, provided Excel is using the same holiday list.
